Jon Wilkin

Jon Wilkin is an English professional rugby league footballer who plays for Toronto Wolfpack. He began his career at Hull Kingston Rovers, and played 25 times before moving to St Helens in 2002. It was here where Wilkin really made his name, breaking into the first team shortly after his move. He was dubbed by some as one of the most promising running backs in the game, and by 2005 Wilkin was called in to the Tri Nations squad in 2005. The following season was a high point for Wilkin. He was a key member of the treble-winning St Helens team. He was once again selected for the Tri Nations in 2006, and made his international debut during the competition. Jon made 401 appearances for St Helens in his 15+ years, and 10 appearances for England. After the end of the 2018 season John has decided to leave St Helens after a remarkable 15 years at the club to join Toronto Wolfpack.
